Wave and Curls
As the size of wave or curl can vary from person to person. Great Looking Hair provides you with the most popular sizes of wave and curl for you to choose from. When ordering, simply enter the correct size required on the order form.

Mix of Grey
Great Looking Hair is very accurate when making a custom made system.
For a mix of Grey Hair the amount of grey on any one head can vary to different parts of the head - from the top, front, and back of the head and the temples.

Density of Hair
The density of hair, depth and thickness, can also vary around different parts of the head.

Most commonly it is more likely to be 80% - 100% around the front hair line and  100% - 115% on the top of the head together with  115% - 130% for the back of the head.

However this is only a guide as this is based on a person with average ‘NORMAL thickness’.

MAKING A TEMPLATE; It really is very easy to make a template following our instructions. However if you are unable to please follow our instructions by measuring specific areas of the head from the diagram below. If you still get stuck just contact us we are always on hand to help.

How to measure

Simply tick the box appropriate to you requirements.
However we are able to add extra materials such as re-enforced skins, should you feel you are likely to be a little heavy handed with your system! For deeper and greater receding hairlines, we can add more lace. There is NO extra charge for this!
 
 
Size of Head

Create the following check-list to send to Great Looking Hair
4 Photographs, front to sides, and back of head. Possible photo of before you lost your hair. At least 2 inches of a sample of your hair, held together be strong sticky tape and stapled to your order form.

On receipt of your order forms A + B, Great Looking Hair Helpline will then contact you by phone to discuss and confirm your order and make sure the correct system is made for your needs.
50% deposit by credit card or cheque payable to Great Looking Hair is required.

Size Guide

Today’s Wigs fit most sizes as they are normally adjustable. With a material tape,  measure the circumference of your head. This is by measuring from your front hair line or if you are receding then where your original hair line would have been such as  around above the ear, into the nape and around to the opposite side of the head.

 

 How to Order A System

Full Systems for Women and Men and Children


This design incorporates all the latest materials of PU Skin, Lace and thin skin to give an incredible natural, lightweight and comfortable feel. The cap supports a medium density for the back, graduating to light density to the front. For daily wear up to 2 systems a year will be needed.

 Partial Systems for Women
Partial Systems give volume to the top part of the head. A very fine but durable lace is used. Using a mid to heavy density will give a natural and full look. For daily use 2 -3 systems a year are needed.

Partial Replacement Systems for Men
A thin skin, breathable, translucent system to replace partial hair loss (toupee). For daily use, 2 -3 systems a year are needed.

TOP PIECE This system is best for ladies and men with less than 25% to no hair at all on the top of their head. The construction is made from breathable mono lace and along the perimetre a durable PU skin for attaching. The system can be attached to the head with clips

TOP PIECE with front LACE....

This system is for all of the above but also attached is very fine lace to enable a fringe to be sewn on.

VOLUMISING SYSTEM
This system is designed for people who have little to no hair around the parting but have hair along the sides (with a minimum of 30% hair plus in these areas). This system can be attached to the head with clips. Hair is then taken through the holes in the piece and integrates with your own hair to create a natural looking volume.

LUXURY FULL HEAD SYSTEM
This is a really most advanced full wig system, designed by us and used by many renowned hair replacement centres around the world.

The construction is made with Mono lace (for strength), double lace and very fine lace in the front and with stretchable PU skin around the perimetre. This amazing construction is Durable, Breathable and can easily be adjusted if needed.

With all our systems, each individual hair is hand sewn and delicated knotted one at a time to ensure the prefect impression of hair growing naturally from the scalp.
